Taking on a consulting role and then a short full-time contract with Yorkshire 2019 working towards delivering the UCI Road Cycling World Championships on our door step in West Yorkshire was a huge pleasure.

Work carried out included:

• Procurement of suppliers and contractors relating to event infrastructure
• Reporting to Director of Operations
• Working in the central planning team for event time operations
• Writing internal C3 briefing documentation
• SOPs
• Attendance at SAGs and multi-agency desktop exercises
• Overseeing logistics, daily operations and internal comms for central control rooms during championship time
• Reporting and issue management
